In the event of overnight snow an early decision will be made whether it is possible to open the school. If the school does not open this information will be given out on:

• Lincs FM (96.7 FM in the Grantham area)
• BBC Radio Lincolnshire (94.9 FM)

These stations broadcast school closures at regular intervals and also publish a list of schools on their respective websites.

We will also try and use ParentMail to notify you.

In the event of heavy snow during the school day we will not close early unless advised to by the emergency services. Parents may collect children before school finishes if they wish to. School clubs will be cancelled and the Childcare Club will not operate. Parents should collect children at the normal finish time.

It is important that children are collected promptly after school to prevent an unfair burden being placed on teaching and support staff. Children will not be sent home before 3.30 pm unless they are collected by parents or carers.

Please do not telephone the school except in an emergency. The closure of the school will only occur in circumstances of exceptional difficulty.
